Four Love Island stars told to leave villa in shock move

Two of the Love Island couples are set to leave the villa tonight in a shocking twist.

In the next episode of the ITV2 reality dating show, the Islanders will be seen celebrating Anna's 29th birthday with a party.

But the festivities come to an abrupt end when Maura receives a text.

She reads it out to the group: "Can all Islanders gather at the fire pit immediately."

The Islanders are told that the public has been voting for their favourite couple.

The three couples with the fewest votes are revealed and are told they are at risk of being dumped from the Island. As Amber and Jordan are single, they were exempt from this vote and dumping.

The three couples are revealed and they then stand in front of the fire pit. The couple who received the least votes from the public is announced and are immediately dumped from the Island.

However, just as the remaining two couples thought they were safe, Tommy receives a text, it says: "One more couple will be dumped, the other couple will remain in the villa.

"The couple which stays and couple that is dumped will be decided by your fellow Islanders."

It is not yet known who the couples are, but according to latest odds, Marvin Brooks and Maura Higgins and Danny Williams and Jourdan Riane are the least favourites to win.

*Love Island continues tonight on ITV2 at 9pm
