Four killed in crash involving Dallas Cowboys tour bus

Four people were killed in a highway collision with a Dallas Cowboys tour bus Sunday afternoon about 50 miles south of Las Vegas, according to multiple reports.

The accident happened on U.S. 93, a few miles south of Dolan Springs, Ariz., according to KSNV News 3, a Las Vegas television station. Initial reports indicate the crash involved the bus and a car, and that people on the bus _ apparently team staff _ were not seriously injured. Photos of the accident scene indicate the Cowboys bus remained upright.

According to multiple reports, those in the bus were making the trip from Dallas to Oxnard, Calif., for training camp, and had planned to make a promotional stop at GameWorks, an entertainment complex in Las Vegas.

Mickey Spagnola, who covers the team for DallasCowboys.com, wrote on that website Wednesday that he would be aboard the bus headed for GameWorks, along with Rowdy, the team mascot, and videographer Jacob Walraven, along with driver Emory Tyler.

About 10 minutes before the accident, Spagnola tweeted: "Road Trippin' 2016 about 80 miles outside Vegas, our next stop, 3 pm GameWorks."
