The record-breaking jackpot of €19.06 million will roll on once more after tonight’s draw, however, four Irish players have won incredible prizes.
The winning numbers in tonight’s main draw were 1, 7, 20, 21, 24, 44 with a bonus number of 19.
While there are no new millionaires after tonight’s Lotto, two lucky players managed to land €640,859 after matching five numbers plus the bonus.
Meanwhile, two players in the Lotto Plus 2 draw are now €250,000 richer after matching all numbers for the top prize.
The winning numbers in this draw were; 1, 3, 5, 24, 25, 39 with the bonus number 6.
Since there were no winners of the record-breaking Lotto jackpot of over €19.06 million which has been rolling over for weeks now, players will have another chance to win on Wednesday.
With the implementation of new Lotto rules, there are lots of chances to win big at the moment.
Due to the sheer size of the Jackpot, no additional money can be added until it is won.
The funds that would normally go to the jackpot instead will be distributed to the next prize tier at which there are winners.
For example, if there is a winner or winners at the Match 5 + Bonus tier, the additional funds will be allocated to this tier.
If there is no winner at the Match 5 + Bonus tier, the additional funds will then be allocated to the next tier at which there is a winner or winners which would be the Match 5 tier.
Ahead of Wednesday’s Lotto draw, National Lottery officials are encouraging players to buy their tickets early as incredible demand for tickets continues to be seen.
Tickets must be purchased ahead of the cut-off time for Lotto sales at 7.45 pm this Wednesday.
