Paddock Lane was closed off for several hours as police responded to the crash. It has not been confirmed whether any arrests were made.

The road was reopened by around 3.30am. A spokesperson for NWAS said: "We were called yesterday at around 7pm to reports of a three-vehicle RTC. We sent one ambulance and a rapid response vehicle.

"There were four people involved who all had minor injuries. We did take one patient, a female in her late 20s, to hospital."
