NEW DELHI: Two people were killed when soil caved in at an under-construction site in Okhla Industrial Area in Delhi earlier on Thursday evening.
DCP (Southeast) Rajesh Deo said, "A basement was being dug at the site and laborers were working there. The soil gave in and seven-eight people got buried, two of whom died.”
"Three others were injured and three others have been discharged. We are verifying if they had any documents and how the digging was being done. We will give you more details after verifications," the DCP added.
