Six Miura bulls, known for their large size and wide horns, ran the 846-metre route through the city’s old town in two minutes and 16 seconds, the fastest time recorded this year.
According to local authorities, two of the injured were taken to the University Hospital of Navarra for treatment.
Each year, thousands of runners take part in the daily runs, attempting to stay ahead of the bulls along narrow, cobbled streets. Gorings are not rare, but many more people are bruised and injured in falls and pileups with each other.
