Four injured after city centre fight as police investigate 'unacceptable incident'

Police have issued a statement after a number of people were injured during a fight in the street. Officers are appealing for information as part of their investigation.

Officers on patrol attended Lower Parliament Street, Nottingham, at around 4.30am on Saturday morning, March 11. Four men suffered injuries which are not currently believed to be life-altering or life-threatening.

Detective Inspector Chris Berryman, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “This was a totally unacceptable incident and officers did well to quickly bring the disorder under control.

“Our investigation into exactly what happened is at a very early stage and I would urge anyone with information, CCTV or dash-cam footage which could help with our inquiries to get in touch immediately.”

Anyone with information is asked to call 101 quoting incident 103 of 11 March 2023. Alternatively, call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
