A small plane made an emergency landing on Interstate 355 near New Lenox Thursday morning, injuring four people.
The white Beechcraft plane landed in the southbound lanes after experiencing mechanical problems, Illinois State Police said.
The pilot and three passengers were taken to a hospital with injuries not considered life-threatening, state police said.
Two southbound lanes of I-355 were closed.
