CHICAGO _ Six people were shot, one fatally, over a four-hour period in Chicago on Tuesday night, according to police.
The fatal attack happened about 7:45 p.m. in the West Humboldt Park neighborhood on the West Side, police said. Tony Webb, 17, was shot in the 1000 block of North Pulaski Road and pronounced dead at Stroger Hospital at 8:11 p.m., according to the Cook County medical examiner.
Webb lived about three miles away, in the 1200 block of South Kostner Avenue in the Lawndale neighborhood.
Earlier in another West Side neighborhood, two men and a woman were shot in the 1500 block of North Linder Avenue in the Austin area about 5:45 p.m. The three were walking when someone fired at them before fleeing in a white sedan, police said.
A 37-year-old man was shot in the left leg and a 25-year-old man in the left side. The younger man was listed in critical condition, and the older man's condition was stabilized. Both were taken to Stroger Hospital. A 45-year-old woman was shot in the right ankle and was taken to West Suburban Medical Center in Oak Park. Her condition was also stabilized.

A 22-year-old man was shot in the back in the South Austin neighborhood on the West Side about 9:30 p.m., police said. He was standing outside in the 100 block of North Lockwood Avenue when a brown van drove by and someone inside fired shots, police said. The man was taken to Stroger Hospital in critical condition with two gunshot wounds to the back.
A 43-year-old man was shot in the arm and buttocks and taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in serious condition, police said. The attack happened about 7:30 p.m. in the 1500 block of West 79th Street in the Gresham neighborhood.
