Four Hearts stars included in PFA Scotland's Championship Team of the Year

Four Hearts players have been named in PFA Scotland's Championship Team of the Year.

The players' union have been picking their best 11s from the top flight and the second tier with Rangers and Celtic stars making up the entirety of the Premiership version.

While it's a little more diverse a league below it's no surprise that the champions are well represented with a quartet of Jambos included.

On Sunday night Liam Boyce was named the PFA's Player of the Year by his fellow pros after finishing the promotion campaign top of the scoring charts.

Scotland keeper Craig Gordon joins him as the goalkeeper, as does Michael Smith whose professionalism and consistency has shone through.

The final Gorgie star to be included is midfielder Andy Irving, whose future at the club remains uncertain with his contract running down.

Elsewhere there was recognition for the likes of Charlie Adam, who has played a massive role in Dundee's play-off final push, and Raith Rovers' Regan Hendry.
