Hamilton Rugby Club youngsters Aaron Burgess, Calum Ferrie, Jamie Thorpe and Euan Bannan have been selected to join Glasgow Warriors Academy, after impressing in the Forsoc West Academy throughout the summer.
The boys will train with Glasgow Warriors and shall play games in October against Edinburgh, Saracens and Cardiff.
It’s an opportunity for them to progress through to the Scotland Under-16 squad.
Development officer Steven Meenagh said: “This is just reward for the effort, dedication and mature way they have handled themselves, whilst proudly wearing their Hamilton colours.
“Whilst we as a club have in the past had a number of players make it to Glasgow squads, I believe this is the first time we have ever had four players from the one team.
“Credit to the boys’ hard work and commitment and the quality of our Hamilton coaches.
“We are hoping to see these numbers rise going forward, after the launch of the Bulls Academy, which starts in September.”
