Four fire engines called to blaze at Nottingham care home

Fire and ambulance crews have been called to fire at a care home in Nottingham.

Crews have been called to the incident on Forest Road East at around 6.30pm on Tuesday, March 1.

An eyewitness told Nottinghamshire Live that police, ambulance and police all arrived at the scene.

Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue confirmed they were called out but the incident was quickly under control.

A spokesperson for Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue said: "We have been called out to a care home on that road [Forest Road].

"It is all out now.

"We had four fire engines at the scene, with it being a care home, but it is all out now. It was a small fire."

Nottinghamshire Police have confirmed they are also at the scene of the incident.
