Four fire engines and an ambulance called to house fire in Dublin after reports of smoke

Four fire engines and an ambulance were deployed to a house fire in Dublin after reports that smoke had been seen billowing from the property.

Dublin Fire Brigade tweeted at 9.58pm tonight (Wednesday) that it had been called out to Blanchardstown, to the north-west of the city in Co Fingal.

Their tweet stated: "Four fire engines and an ambulance were called to a house fire in #Blanchardstown today after reports of smoke being visible.

"Firefighters in breathing apparatus extinguished the fire and positive pressure fans were able to ventilate the property. #Dublin #fire #Fingal."

There were no reports of any injuries or whether the house was occupied at the time, despite an ambulance being dispatched to the scene to attend to any casualties.
