Tourists have been pointed in the direction of four top Edinburgh restaurants by a luxury travel mag.
Conde Nast Traveller this week published an article on their top 25 destinations to go on holiday this August and make the most of the summer sunshine.
The likes of the Turks and Caicos Islands, Zankynthos and Papua New Guinea were included on the 'inspiration' list and there was also a spot for our fair city.

Their writers said: "Wonderful, beautiful Edinburgh – is there a time of year when it isn't heaven?
"But by far one of the most fun months is August, when the medieval streets are filled with buskers, artists and actors vying for your attention during Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Every corner of the already raucous city roars with laughter."
Although the reason to visit Edinburgh in August may be obvious, the article also heaped praise on the capital's 'farm to table restaurant scene' and singled out four of our top eateries for their impact on our city:
"At Aizle, the tasting menu details the ingredients that came in fresh that day and will be appearing on your plate.
" Fhior’s seven-course menu is heavy on foraged ingredients.
"Hipster Timberyard works with local growers and breeders to plate up wonderfully obscure flavours.
"83 Hanover Street (Superico) blends the best of Scottish produce with Chilean chef Juan José Castillo Castro’s culinary heritage."
And, having featured each of the four restaurants on our site in recent months, it's hard to disagree with their suggestions.
