Four coronavirus symptoms that are different after you've had vaccine

Researchers have identified four different coronavirus symptoms for people who catch covid, after they've been vaccinated.

Scientists at King's College London confirmed it is still possible to get infected with coronavirus after you've had the jab, but said this was happening in very small numbers.

They also revealed four symptoms which those who have had their vaccinations should look out for which are different to the usual symptoms.

The NHS have identified three main coronavirus symptoms which are a high temperature, a new, continuous cough and a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste - reports Birmingham Live.

Vaccinated people with Covid reported similar levels of shortness of breath, earache and swollen glands.

But one symptom stood out - sneezing.

It was 24 per cent more common in people under 60 with Covid after their jab.

The study also found those who had been vaccinated against the virus were less likely to report any of the symptoms of coronavirus.

Those studied were almost 70 per cent less likely to have a fever to those who haven't been vaccinated., and 55% less likely to be fatigued.

The research studied thousands of people in the UK using the ZOE Covid Symptom Study app.

Those studying the data found almost 2,400 people had reported a positive Covid test after their first dose of vaccine out of 1.1 million app users - 0.2 per cent.

Out of half a million people studied who received two doses, 187 (0.03 per cent) tested positive weeks after.
