Four clubs make contact with Man City's Sergio Aguero over free transfer

Sergio Aguero is a Bosman target for Barcelona, Paris St Germain, Juventus and Inter Milan this summer.

Aguero’s goal-laden 10 years at Manchester City could end in June when his contract expires and the Blues have yet to open talks over new terms.

City’s all-time leading scorer with 256 goals is free to speak to foreign clubs and it is understood he has received approaches from Barcelona, PSG, Juventus and Inter.

It is believed Aguero has yet to receive any concrete offers and is keeping his options open for now.

The Argentina striker has always said he wants to finish his career back at his beloved Independiente in his native Buenos Aires, but he believes he still has a couple more seasons left in one of Europe’s top leagues.

Aguero, who cost £38million from Atletico Madrid in 2011, is 33 in June and City are refusing to rush into offering him a new deal because of his poor injury record.

He has managed just nine appearances this season because of a succession of problems and has started just two Premier League games.

Aguero has scored just twice this season in the Champions League and he has not netted in the Premier League for 13 months.

The South American earns around £260,000-a-week at the Etihad and City do not want to hand him a new contract unless they feel he can still make a major contribution.
