Four men from Blackburn have been charged after allegedly shouting antisemitic abuse from a car in north London in May.

Mohammed Iftikhar Hanif, 27; Jawaad Hussain, 24; Asif Ali, 25; and Adil Mota, 26, are all accused of using threatening, abusive or insulting words, or behaviour, with intent, likely to stir up racial hatred.

It is alleged that they shouted antisemitic abuse from a car travelling as part of a convoy in St John's Wood, north London on May 16.

They were charged via postal requisition on September 16 and will appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court on October 6.

The alleged incident took place amid pro-Palestinian protests during renewed conflict with Israel.
