Four charged following BB gun incident in Stirling city centre

Four people have been charged in connection with an incident that saw two young girls shot with a BB gun in the city centre at the weekend.

The two girls, both aged 14, were targeted at around 4pm on Sunday, May 16, when they were struck by pellets from a BB gun.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 4pm on Sunday, May 16, officers were called to Lower Bridge Street in Stirling following a report that two girls, aged 14, had been struck by pellets from a BB gun.

“Two male youths, aged 16 and 17, and two men, aged 18, were traced and charged in connection with the incident. They will be subject of a report to the Procurator Fiscal.”
