Four Bristol men charged over £650,000 cannabis factory in Liverpool

Four men from Bristol have been charged with conspiracy to supply cannabis after a major police operation on Merseyside seized cannabis plants worth almost two-thirds of a million pounds.

The raid on the 'factory' in Birkenhead, near Liverpool, happened on Thursday last week, and was carried out by Merseyside Police in conjunction with the South West Regional Organised Crime Unit (ROCU) who had travelled up to Liverpool.

The four men charged with conspiracy to supply cannabis are: Edi Daka, 45, from Barrs Court in the Longwell Green area of Bristol; Eno Suma, 34, from Bishopsworth Road in Bedminster Down, and Arjan Dishmima, 41 and 36-year-old Mario Fioruci, who are both of no fixed abode.

A spokesperson for the ROCU said: “Four Bristol and South Gloucestershire men have been charged with conspiracy to supply cannabis.

“It follows an operation that saw a multi-level cannabis factory in Birkenhead, Merseyside, dismantled and £650,000 worth of plants seized,” he confirmed.

“The men were arrested by officers from the South West Regional Organised Crime Unit near the M53 last Thursday night. Thirty large bags of cannabis were seized from two vans.

“Merseyside Police assisted with searching and dismantling the extensive set-up on Bentinck Street,” he added.
