Detectives have arrested four men over the murder of a “loving family man” shot dead in south London.
Kyrone Moodie, 27, was gunned down in a double shooting on New Park Road, Clapham.
On Wednesday, suspects aged 25, 26, 27 and 28 were detained on suspicion of conspiracy to murder, the Metropolitan Police said.
Officers and London Ambulance Service rushed to scene and treated Mr Moodie and a 20-year-old man for gunshot wounds before taking them to hospital around 8.50pm on September 8.
Despite the best efforts of medical staff, he died in the early hours of the next day.
Mr Moodie’s family continue to receive support from specialist officers. The second victim of the shooting has now been discharged from hospital.
Detective Chief Inspector Sarah Lee, who is leading the investigation, said: “These arrests mark a significant step as my team continue to probe the murder of Kyrone.

“We are working at pace to establish exactly what led to this tragic incident. Kyrone’s family are also receiving support from specialist officers.
“I know the community remain concerned about this incident and residents can expect to see a continued police presence at the scene of the crime over the next few days.”
In a statement, Mr Moodie’s family said: “Kyrone was a loving family man. He was genuine and determined.
“He helped everyone he could. Kyrone was just a humble, funny and God-worshiping family orientated man.”
