Four arrested on suspicion of spying for Iran, say Met Police

  • Four men, including one Iranian national and three dual British-Iranian nationals, were arrested on Friday morning in London.
  • They are suspected of aiding Iran's intelligence service by spying on locations and individuals linked to the Jewish community.
  • The arrests took place in Barnet, Watford, and Harrow, with the men aged 52, 40, 55, and 22.
  • Six other men were also arrested at the same location in Harrow on suspicion of assisting an offender.
  • Counter Terrorism Policing London is leading the investigation and has urged the public, particularly the Jewish community, to remain vigilant.
