Four people have been arrested following a number of search operations in Finglas West, Co Dublin, on Thursday morning.
One man aged in his 20s was arrested for Firearm Offences related to an incident which occurred in January, under Section 30 Offences Against the State Act, 1939.
During the search of another house, a firearm was recovered.
A man aged in his 30s and two women aged in their 20s were arrested at this premises under Section 30 Offences Against the State Act, 1939, for Firearm Offences.
A garda spokesperson said: “All four arrested are currently detained at Finglas and Blanchardstown Garda Station.
“Investigations are ongoing.”
