Four men have been arrested after burglars tried to break into through the roof of a shop in Strangeways.
Police were called to the shop on Bury New Road at around 12.25am on Monday (November 22).
The National Police Air Service helicopter was also deployed.
Officers found four men on the roof of the store who trying to break in, police said.

Two men jumped down from the roof and ran off in the direction of Sherbourne Street but were caught by officers.
Police and the helicopter tracked the two other men on the roof.
They were detained soon after.
All four men, aged between 19 and 34, were arrested on suspicion of burglary.
They have since been released under investigation.
Enquiries are ongoing, the force said.
Inspector William Jennings-Wharton of GMP's Cheetham Hill Neighbourhood team, said: "We've seen an increase recently in burglaries of businesses in the Strangeways area so the arrest of four men was a really positive result for the team and clearly demonstrates the effectiveness of partnership working amongst teams to locate offenders.
"Our investigation will remain ongoing and I would encourage anyone with information that could assist our enquiries to get in touch with police.
