Armed police carried out a dramatic swoop on an apartment block in Manchester city centre today (Tuesday).
Backed by Tactical Aid Unit officers, they executed a warrant at an apartment block off Hulme Hall road in Castlefield during the afternoon.
Officers remained at the scene for some time.
Four suspects have been arrested.

An ambulance was also called to the scene after one of the suspects is believed to have suffered a medical episode.
An investigation is continuing at the scene where scene of crime officers could be seen taking photographs.
The incident caused minor traffic problems in the area.
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police confirmed a four people were arrested following a 'pre-planned' firearms warrant which was executed at the scene.
No further details were disclosed.
