Forza Horizon 6 is now available on Xbox Game Pass, just as fourteen other games have been revealed for May 2026's second batch and beyond

Xbox Game Pass announcement featuring 14 game covers on a green background, including "Forza Horizon 5," "Peppa Pig," and "Final Fantasy VI.".

Xbox Game Pass has announced its second batch of new Xbox games coming to and leaving Microsoft's subscription service during the latter half of May 2026 and a little bit of June 2026.

The biggest highlight is Forza Horizon 6, which is finally available for public consumption on Xbox consoles and Xbox Game Pass after releasing in early access on May 15, 2026.

Other major games joining Microsoft's flagship racing title among this line-up include the cult Soulslike third-person shooter Remnant 2, the popular Jurassic Park simulator Jurassic World Evolution 3, and an upcoming indie RPG that's recently piqued my interest called Echo Generation 2.

Here is the rest of the games announced for Xbox Game Pass' second May 2026 batch:

Windows Central's take

Among this line-up, Forza Horizon 6 is, without a doubt, the star of the show that everyone's been hyped to play, as it quickly gathered over 170,000 Steam users alone in just a day during early access, which skyrocketed to over 270,000 Steam users when it launched for the general public.

A few of my colleagues are also itching to play it. Our Managing Editor, Richard Devine, enjoyed Forza Horizon 6's preview build, and one of our gaming contributors, Michael Hoglund, reviewed the full game and gave it 4.5 out of 5 stars.

Michael proclaims that "Forza Horizon 6 is the series at its most confident, most refined, and most fun," while praising its refined racing gameplay, gorgeous racing tracks set across Japan, a large variety of over 550 playable cars, meaningful progression systems, and more.

If you're a longtime fan of Forza Horizon or racing games in general, then Forza Horizon 6 is a no-brainer, as it's now widely regarded by critics as the series' best entry yet.

However, the Xbox Game Pass title I'm looking forward to playing the most from this line-up is Echo Generation 2, a lesser-known indie RPG where you travel across the galaxy to find a way back to Earth while fighting cosmic horrors.

I enjoyed the original Echo Generation a few years back, and the sequel is already looking like a massive improvement with crazier alien monsters to fight, refined voxel graphics, a larger cast of intriguing party members, and an upgraded turn-based combat system with deckbuilder elements.

If you're a fan of indie RPGs inspired by classic 16-bit RPGs like Final Fantasy and Earthbound, you may want to keep Echo Generation 2 on your radar, as this game is shaping up to be a wild sleeper hit.
