Ethan Havard and Oliver Partington have handed Adrian Lam a double boost after the forward duo were named in Wigan Warriors' squad for Friday's trip to Huddersfield Giants.
The two sides will meet for the second time in under a week this weekend, in a Super League clash which was due to take place last month before a Covid-19 outbreak in the Huddersfield camp.
But there is mixed news for Lam in terms of availability for the game. Havard returns after completing a one-match ban for last week's game, while Partington is available for selection after suffering a head knock in the Warriors' recent defeat at St Helens.
However, with Jackson Hastings suspended, Lam faces another selection dilemma at fullback, with Oliver Gildart, Liam Marshall and Sam Halsall - the other new name in Lam's squad - among the potential options to replace Hastings.
Willie Isa serves the second game of his two-match ban, while Zak Hardaker, John Bateman and Morgan Smithies remain on the treatment table alongside long-term injured duo Bevan French and Jai Field.
Wigan 21-man squad: Oliver Gildart, Liam Marshall, Thomas Leuluai, Brad Singleton, Sam Powell, Joe Bullock, Liam Farrell, Oliver Partington, Tony Clubb, Liam Byrne, Harry Smith, Ethan Havard, Jake Bibby, Mitch Clark, Joe Shorrocks, Kai Pearce-Paul, Sam Halsall, James McDonnell, Umyla Hanley, Brad O'Neill.
