‘Fortnite’ Thief Location: Where To Find The Thief For The Spire Challenges

We’ve got some interesting new challenges here in Fortnite: Battle Royale, building on some of the work that Epic did with NPCs towards the end of the last season for what feels like it’s going to be a season-long storyline centered around the spire and the colorful new cast of characters that’s begun to show up here. One of these concerns finding the Thief, who you might need a little bit of help finding. We’re here to help.

The Thief’s name is Raz, and he comes into play after the Tarana portion of the quest line. He has a sort of Prince of Persia thing going on, and he lives in Colossal Crops, just east of the spire. You’re going to want to drop in and head to the largest central building in the area and head up to the second floor: just look for the little dialog bubble on the mini-map and you should be good.

When you go over to him, select the Spire option, like you did with Tarana.

The only word of caution here is that not only is this area going to be pretty dangerous by virtue of the fact that this quest is here, it’s also smack in the center of the map and so is likely to be pretty highly populated anyways. So you might get blasted on your way to finishing the quest, or you might want to hang back a second for the dust to settle before you go in to talk to him.

Regardless, I’m interested to see how these things go over the course of the season. From the very beginning, Fortnite always had this sort of idea of being a tiny little MMO, and these sorts of quests are really starting to bolster that idea. NPC started out in a much more simple fashion here, but they seem to be getting progressively more complicated as time goes on.

Check back for more soon. I’m actually not sure if we’re going to get standard challenges on Thursdays like we have in the past, or if these Spire things are the new thing, but we’ll see what we end up getting.
