Something–something–is coming out of the UFO at Loot Lake. Some other stuff is bound to happen too, but we’ll at least start with that. That’s the theme of the Season 8, Week 10 loading screen, which shows our intrepid heroes, or at least some intrepid heroes, peering into the mysterious site that we’ve unearthed at the bottom of the lake. They seem to be wondering just what’s going to happen down there, to which I say: join the club. But, as usual, there’s a secret banner in the loading screen for those that care to look, so let’s see what’s down there.
In the past few weeks, the loading screen hasn’t included the location itself so much as a clue, but we return to something a little more traditional with this week. You can actually see the banner itself in the loading screen, though it’s somewhat obscured. Let’s take a closer look:
That’s where the banner should be once the challenges are completed: on top of a semi truck near the dig site. There are two down there, though neither is arranged quite in the way that the one in the loading screen appears to be. In case you forgot where Loot Lake is, here’s where you’re going:

That’s it for the Season 10 loading screens, but there’s clearly more to happen. The volcano is going to erupt, Tilted towers is likely going to be destroyed, and something else is going to happen: if Fortnite history serves, it could be literally anything. It will all likely go down this Sunday. Stay tuned for the culmination of Season 8. My only hope is that something happens with those dragon eggs, because man am I ready to see what happens there.
