It’s time for yet another treasure map in Fortnite: Battle Royale. This time players are tasked with uncovering the location of the treasure map in Dusty Divot and then following that map to the location of the hidden Battle Star.
Back in February players had to find the treasure map in Dusty Depot, but that was before the comet struck and changed Fortnite’s map forever. This week it’s Dusty Divot, though the areas is less and less dusty as it becomes greener, filled with trees and cool, blue ponds.
This week’s challenges have been pushed back to Friday morning, one day later than usual. The full suite of Season 5, Week 7 challenges will go live at 9 am EST / 6 am PST on August 24th, but the challenges have already leaked online.
We have the challenges (or at least the likely challenges) but the datamining may have been too powerful. We actually have two leaked maps, courtest of @fortrise(n):

This means we have two possible locations for this week’s hidden Battle Star. So we can go ahead and get out and front of this, I’ve made two separate maps with the possible locations of both treasures. Once the challenges go live (at 6 am my time) I’ll be up and scouring the map for the actual location. It’s almost certainly one or the other, unless Epic Games throws us a curve ball and changes the challenges completely. In any case, let’s see where these maps lead . . . .
Location #1: Just North Of Dusty Divot

This is right past the Stone Head that’s northwest of the surviving warehouses in Dusty Divot. Grab those treasure chests around the Stone Head then run up to the small three-tree-grove and there’s your hidden Battle Star.
Location #2: South Of Dusty Divot, North Of Salty Springs

This is a little trickier. It’s on the small group of jutting plateaus just to the south of Dusty Divot and north of Salty Springs. Sail down or clamber up to the south-eastern plateau to find the hidden Battle Star.
These are both very likely locations of hidden treasure this season, though which one is this week’s remains to be seen. I’ll login at 9 am EST / 6 am PST (my time) and find out for sure and update this post accordingly.
Thanks so much for reading and I hope this is helpful, even if we’re jumping the gun a bit this time around. Hit me up on Twitter and Facebook if you have any question, comments or tips!
