'Fortnite': Pirate Ship And Viking Ship Locations, Where To Collect 100 Wood

Fortnite

It’s the final week of Fornite’s Season 9: time to sit back, enjoy the Singularity Skin and watch the world burn(at least in some way). Unless, of course, you don’t have all the fortbytes you want or haven’t gotten to Tier 100 of the battle pass quite yet, in which case it’s your last chance to rack up some challenges and finish up your to-do list. The Season 9, Week 10 challenges are now live in Fortnite: Battle Royale, and we’re here to help you out with them. Let’s get into this multi-part material collecting challenge, starting with Viking Ships and Pirate Ships. Read on for where to collect 100 wood from a Viking Ship or a Pirate Ship.

If you’ve played this game for any length of time, this shouldn’t be too much of a problem: not only are both of these incredibly prominent features on the map, but 100 wood is really not so much wood. So all you’ve got to do is land at one of these spots, swing your pickaxe a few times and come away with a enough wood for a cozy little cottage. Here’s where you’re going:

Both of these are big enough that a ton of people should be able to complete these in a given match, but we’ll probably see some crazy pickaxe parties here in the early days.

The Viking Ship is old-ish: it arrived in Season 5 as part of the rifts that started popping up all over the match after the Visitor broke the sky with the villain’s rocket(I love Fortnite lore). Originally, people thought it was going to be part of a time travel-themed season, but it turned out that Season 5 was sort of a total mystery, theme-wise, and so a Viking Village fit in with things as well as anything else could have. Pirate Ship? A whole lot more straightforward. Season 8 was pirate-themed, Season 8 came with a big old pirate ship covered in cannons. No problem.

After this we’ll be heading to some curiously shaped holes in the ground before finishing up at the bot factory, so stick around and we’ll complete all these challenges, gettign you ready for the grand finale.
