This piano, man. This piano has some staying power. It’s both big and reminiscent of the movie Big, and it’s been featured in a number of Fortnite challenges since it first showed up. It’s one of the more fun little diversions you can get up to on this island full of people trying to eliminate you at any cost, letting you plunk out little tunes as you hop up and down on the keys. It showed up as a destination as recently as last season, but here we are again, stopping by to say hello. It’s one of the objectives in the music-themed “Boogie Down” mission, and so read on for a map, guide, and location for where to visit an oversized Piano in Fortnite: Battle Royale.
When this thing first showed up I believe there were two pianos, but now we’re down to one. The piano is located to the east of Lonely Lodge, on a cliff overlooking the ocean. Here’s where you want to land:
This spot is likely to be a bit busy this week, because the piano is used in both this normal challenge and an upcoming prestige challenge. If you want things to be a little bit easier you can always back off, but for the normal challenge all you have to do is show up. Take care not to shoot the people tapping on the keys: that’s just poor sportsmanship. Here’s what it looks like on the ground:
Shouldn’t take too long to mop this one up, even if the prestige version is a bit more complicated. Regardless, I’m a fan of this mission: dancing has been so integral to the game since its beginning that it’s nice to see a week dedicated to busting a move all over the map, even if it’s sending us to some old familiar locations. As I’ve said before, all of this recycling makes me think the team is gearing up for a new map in Season 11, but we’ll see what happens when that gets going.
