It’s an old reliable location we’re headed to for today’s Fortbyte challenge in Fortnite: Battle Royale. It’s never had a formal name, but it’s been here since the very beginning of the game, even since before the very first map redesign. But we’ve been here for challenges every once in a while: I recall a dance floor here in one of the early seasons, and I think that an overtime challenge had us going here at one point. It’s not the most popular spot to drop, but decent in a pinch if you’re looking for something a little quieter. Read on for a map, guide, and location for Fortybte #14: found within an RV Park.
To start, we’ll need to know where to drop. The RV park is just east of Retail Row Mega Mall, and it shows up as just a tiny little location on the map. Here’s where you’re going:

The Fortbyte itself is in the middle of the park, in-between some trees. Here’s what it looks like on the ground:

No special costumes or anything like that, so just drop in and grab it. If you’re in a normal list you might find a little more action here than usual, but likely only if you’re going after this thing this morning. I’ve got a few Fortbytes saved up after travelling to E3, so I’m off on an island-hopping adventure to get as many as I can in one go right now.
Season 9 is in a bit of a quiet moment right now, at least where this overarching monster plot is concerned. Horde Rush is the big event at the moment, bringing some genuine PvE action to the battle royale side of things. It’s not quite so elaborate as Save the World, but it’s nice to see some true co-op action in the context of the PvP game as well: Save the World is still sort of its own thing, and most players stick to battle royale anyways. But we’re halfway through this season, so expect things to pick up soon as we see just what’s going on with this weird monster.
