Today’s Fortbyte is one of the most interesting we’ve seen in Fortnite since these fun little puzzles were introduced in Season 9.
For one thing, I had no idea that this location even existed. Fortbyte #11 is found beneath a circling jungle parrot. I had no idea there was a parrot in this game. That’s neat.
Of course, we can guess Fortbyte #11′s general location—there’s only one jungle in Fortnite, after all. Then again, it’s a pretty big jungle, stretching all the way from Lazy Lagoon’s far shore to the northern edge of Lonely Lodge, wrapping around the volcano and Pressure Plant and fully encompassing Sunny Steps.
So where is the circling jungle parrot?
Well, it turns out the bird is flying in a small circle east of the Sky Platform by Pressure Plant:
Since the parrot is circling, it won’t be in the exact same place for everyone. Watch the bird as you glide in and see where exactly he’s circling, then drop down and you’ll find the Fortbyte. The parrot is only making a fairly small circuit, so it shouldn’t be too difficult.
You don’t need a special emote, spray or skin to grab this one—just interact with it and it’s all yours.
Better yet, now we know there’s a parrot hanging out in the jungle making a perpetual circle as he awaits the return of his pirate buddies. In a sense, he’s even watching over (not-buried) treasure.
