Jonesy is all over the place in this Downtown Drop Challenge in Fortnite. Previous Downtown Drop challenges only had you looking for the cardboard cutout of our little friend in one location, but these most recent ones have us looking for three different spots, some of them easy and some of them significantly less so. You’ll want to complete them, however, because they come with one of the better style options for the back board in the mix: an image of a banana in remembrance of our friend Peely. Read on for a guide on where to find Jonesy in the back of a truck.
The trick with this one is that there are trucks all over the place on this map: it’s a city street, after all, and so trucks are a pretty logical thing to throw all over the place. But don’t go looking in the dozen or so trucks on the course itself: this one is actually going to be much more difficult to find. The trick here is that you can’t get this on your first round through: as far as I can tell the only reasonable way to do it is to finish the course once and then restart.
You’re looking for a side alleyway on the right of the map: it’s right there at the beginning of the course, so be sharp. You’ll notice it by the basketball hoop. Here’s what you’re looking for:
Be quick at the beginning: you start with a lot of momentum, and you might need to backtrack. Regardless, you can always slide around on those icy feet of yours and do your best to maneuver into the alleyway even if you miss it. Just slide back on in there and Jonesy will be on the left. Not the most straightforward one, but easy enough once you know where you’re going. That makes 5 Jonesi on the map so far, though it’s too bad that these are just cutouts and not some sort of squalid Bunker Jonesy NPC, hiding out in the dark corners of this city.
