Fortnite is back with another batch of legendary challenges this week, and we are still sticking around the farms, a central hub for many of these. Slone has some challenges for us this week that are mostly cow-related, including placing cow decoys at the farms.
This one is…pretty easy, as you will see by my extremely broad map here:
What I’ve found when figuring out where these locations are is that there are at least ten cow decoy locations across both the Corny Complex and the Hayseed farm next door, making it relatively simple to get the three you’re going to need to complete this challenge.
My recommendation is to land in the Hayseed farm area, because it will be less of a hot drop, and you can probably see three different cow cutouts from a single spot, making this easy to complete quickly. They are giant and obvious markers for where the cows are supposed to be placed, that look like this:
As you can see, they’re hard to miss. This joins a few other challenges this week in the vicinity of the farms like placing Prepper Supplies, dealing damage in farms and using the new item, the Inflate-A-Bull. I know that was disabled yesterday, but I’m not sure if it’s back yet. I suppose it’s possible that may be changed.
I remain unclear about what exactly we’re trying to do for Slone here in regard to the alien invasion. The mothership keeps circling and IO and the aliens keep fighting. Now the alien influence is spreading to take over certain zones like Holly Hatchery, and we’ll see where we are by the end of the season. Complete alien map by then? I doubt it, but who knows.
In any case, these legendary challenges are more interesting than they’ve been previously, and I see no reason not complete all of them for some easy XP pretty much every week. Hopefully this guide is enough to get you started on one of the basic ones, and the others aren’t so bad either. Will have other guides on the ones that need them up shortly. Stay tuned.
