UPDATED: 'Fortnite' Clock Locations: Where To Visit 3 Different Clocks

Fortnite

It’s a good old fashioned object hunt here in Fortnite: Battle Royale. We haven’t had one of these with the weekly challenges for a little while, with most of the “find a thing” sort of tasks moving over to the Fortbyte section. But they do show up from time to time, and this week’s is pretty straightforward. Read on for a map, guide and locations for how to complete this Season 9, Week 8 challenge: visit three different clocks.

Some of these are fairly prominent, some less so. I’ve only found three (update: added sunny steps clock) in total on the map, though it’s possible there could be more. But a quick scan around possible points of interest didn’t yield anything, so let’s go with what we’ve got. Here’s where you’ll want to drop:

Fortnite

To start with, we’re up North. Junk Junction now houses the old clock tower from Tilted Towers, now left for scrap and rusting in a pile of trash. One of its faces is broken, but the other one appears to be operational, or at least not smashed. You’ll find it in the southwest corner of the junkyard at the bottom of the broken tower.

Next, we’ll take a look at its replacement. This fancy rotating digital clock is right in the middle of Neo Tilted on top of one of the biggest towers, displaying the time on a spinning hologram because we’ve all apparently become too fancy for regular, old-fashioned clocks. This was also featured in a recent loading screen.

And finally, just a no-nonsense clock in a no-nonsense town. Head down to Happy Hamlet to find the final clocktower right in the middle of town, telling all of its residents the time without any sort of holographic malarkey. The model for this appears to be the same as the old Tilted clock, so we assume that the residents of Happy Hamlet just had a bit more sense than those from Tilted Towers.

Update: This clock seems to be glitched for some reason, and will not count for the challenge. The Fortnite team is on vacation, so this might take a bit of time to fix.

And there’s one more! I didn’t see this the first time around, but when the Happy Hamlet clock was glitched I saw someone on twitter mentioning a third. There is one final clock at Sunny Steps: it’s a sundial, so you may have missed it. Here’s what it looks like:

Visit all three of those and you’ll have completed your challenge. Committed players are likely moving on towards the end of the battle pass now, but we’re still a few days short of the Singularity skin, which should begin the third act of this season when it arrives. It should be an interesting one, but we’ll have to wait a bit to see.
