'Fortnite' Chapter 7 Season 3 Sprite List: All the Critters Available to Collect In the Game

With Chapter 7 Season 3 nearing its end, Epic Games has locked in the final version of one of the season's core mechanics.

Every Sprite that will ever be available in "Fortnite: Runners" has now been confirmed, giving players a clear checklist before the season wraps up for good.

'Fortnite' Chapter 7 Season 3 Sprites List

Following the release of eight Gem Sprite variants on August 6, the "Fortnite" Chapter 7 Season 3 Sprite list is officially complete at a total of 117 collectible Sprites, as Vice said. Epic Games has confirmed no additional variants are expected to arrive before the season ends on August 19.

  • Holofoil variants
  • Gem variants (final wave, added August 6)

  • Cube variants

Combined, these base types and their variants make up the full 117-Sprite roster. The rarest of the bunch are the Gem Zero Point and Galaxy Zero Point Sprites, followed closely by the Cube Grim and Gem Grim variants.

What Are Sprites in 'Fortnite?'

Sprites are collectible companion creatures that grant a passive ability while equipped during a match, ranging from shield regeneration and bonus loot to cloaking effects, pickaxe damage boosts, and health siphoning after eliminations.

Each Sprite carries a rarity ranging from Rare up to Mythic, and its effects grow stronger as it levels up throughout the course of a match.

Unlike their original appearance back in Chapter 6 Season 1, Sprites collected in Chapter 7 Season 3 carry over permanently between matches rather than resetting each time. Players find them through Sprite Chests, regular Chests, Rare Chests, and Supply Drops scattered across the map, then need to secure them at a designated extraction point and survive a timer in order to officially add that Sprite to their collection.

Dying while carrying a Sprite in a match causes it to be lost, though once a Sprite has already been added to a player's permanent collection, it can be resummoned later using Sprite Dust.

Should You Catch Sprites Before Chapter 7 Season 4?

Players still working on their Sprite collection have a real reason to prioritize it before the season ends.

While Epic Games has confirmed Sprites will return in the upcoming Chapter 7 Season 4: Override, every Sprite collected this season will carry over specifically into a new feature called the Sprite Garden, letting players view and keep their full existing collection going forward.

Since this current batch of 117 Sprites is now finalized and won't see any further additions during Season 3, any player hoping to round out their collection needs to keep surviving matches and securing extractions before August 19.

Once Season 4 begins, an entirely new set of Sprites is expected to take over active collection, meaning whatever hasn't been secured by then may become considerably harder, if not impossible, to track down through normal gameplay going forward.
