For the start of this Season 9, Week 5 challenge, we went over to the desert. That one was the most obvious: a racetrack you can more or less see from space, and one that has been a staple of the game since the very beginning, albeit a staple that has changed quite a lot over time. But Fortnite has three race tracks now, at least in battle royale. This next one arrived in Season 7, along with rest of the snow biome, and it’s not nearly so obvious as the first one. Read on for a guide, map and location of where to complete a lap of a snowy racetrack in Fortnite: Battle Royale.
The snow racetrack is right by Happy Hamlet, and it’s a relatively recent addition to the game. It’s sort of hidden away in there, and difficult to see from the map. Still, it’s unmistakable once you get right up to it. Here’s where you’re going:

And here’s what the track looks like from the air:

This racetrack was used in a challenge last season, and it was intended as a kind of introduction of the recently-added baller vehicle. That’s why this track winds around a mountain in the way that it does: you’re supposed to make use of the baller’s grappler ability as a way to navigate the more complex terrain. Which is a fun way of doing it: try to use the grappler as much as possible and finish the course by swinging around the mountain. It shouldn’t take all that long, but be on the lookout for people trying to blow your baller up. with the recent health nerfs these things are fairly fragile, so they could mess your run up fairly quickly. There are some driftboards in the area that could manage it as well.
There should be some ballers right there on the starting line unless they’ve already been taken. If so, there are some AIM camps around that always have ballers outside. Look for the red tents. This one is a little bit harder to find than the first, but should still be plenty familiar to most players churning their way through challenges.
