Fortnite Challenge Location: Where To Complete A Lap Of A Grasslands Race Track

Fortnite

We’ve been to the snow and we’ve been to the desert, and now it’s time to head up north. There are three racetracks in this multi-stage challenge here in Fortnite’s Season 9, Week 5, and this last one is probably the least-used. This whole northern area by Junk Junction and Haunted Hills isn’t the hottest spot on the map, which is probably why I usually come up here to grab a driftboard and mess around. Regardless, you’ll want to make a trip up here for the final stage of this challenge: read on for a map, guide, and location for where to complete a lap of a grasslands racetrack in Fortnite: Battle Royal.

The track is east of Junk Junction and just south of the TV studio that popped up back in Season 4. It’s just sort of a building with some trucks and vehicles by it. Here’s where you want to be going:

Here’s what it looks like from the air:

To be honest, I’m not entirely sure I remembered that this was a racetrack. It seems obvious now, but I always just thought of it as a building with driftboards and paid it little mind. Mind in retrospect: yes, it’s clearly a racetrack. There’s a big yellow starting line by it, which sort of screams racetrack. This one is a little less contained than the other two, however, so you’ll need to exert some effort to staying on the track. I’m not sure to what degree the game tracks whether or not you took shortcuts or that sort of thing, but better to be safe than sorry in this particular instance.

This one is a driftboard track, though there is a quadcrasher nearby as well. That seems to be the theme here: each one of these tracks highlights a different vehicle. We had quadcrasher for the first one, baller for the second one and now driftboard. Which is my favorite of all these vehicles, to be honest: it’s not much from a meta point of view because of how exposed it leaves you, but it’s fun to take a battle royale shooter and turn it into SSX tricky for a second. It really shines in Creative Mode, however, where people can make actual tracks for it.
