The Week 5 challenges are finally live in Fortnite: Battle Royale, and that means we’ve got another chance to grab a hidden Battle Star based off of the weekly Blockbuster challenges. You can get a new loading screen every week when you complete all the challenges for a given week, and that loading screen contains a hint at where to find a secret Battle Star worth one whole Battle Pass tier. Here’s where you’ll want to go for the Week 5 Blockbuster challenge.
The location of the Battle Star leaked a little bit early this time when dataminers DieBuddies found the loading screens from this week and next week hanging out in the game files. This week’s depicts an epic battle between the heroes and villains that we’ve met so far in Season 4, so let’s take a look:
This one shouldn’t be too hard for the seasoned Fortnite player to figure out–it’s a whole lot more straightforward than some of those early weeks, that’s for sure. You can clearly see an image of a crab right about in the center of the image, which corresponds to the big crab structure in the southern part of the map. Here’s where you’re going:

When you drop in, you’ll want to go right on top, where you can see the battle star in the loading screen. Note that this is provisional because I haven’t seen anyone finish the Week 5 challenges yet and the star won’t appear until you’ve done so. But the leaks from DieBuddies have been accurate in the past about this and other things, and the hint in the loading screen really couldn’t be more clear. I’ll update this post once someone finds the star in game, but for now it’s a pretty safe assumption that this is where we’re going to find the star when it appears.
We’ve only got two weeks left in these Blockbuster challenges, after which we can finally unlock the ultimate goal of Season 4. There’s a lot of pressure on the skin by this point, so I hope it’s nice.
