Fortnite’s Season 4, Week 5 challenges went live this morning. Some of them are pretty easy this week and others are a little bit trickier.
One of the riskier challenges this week is searching chests in Dusty Divot, the giant crater created at the outset of Season 4 where Dusty Depot once stood.
That’s partly because Dusty Divot is a popular, central location that’s almost always well-populated. Having a challenge like this featured in the location will only make matters worse.
So where are the chests in Dusty Divot? Many are randomized, scattered throughout the buildings at the center of the crater, and sometimes nestled up in the towers. But there are a handful that you can count on.
These are located:
- In the center of the main building near the control panel.
- Up on the edge of the crater in the two warehouses remaining from the meteor’s devestation. The first is near the edge of the cliff; the second is in the more intact warehouse on the ground.
Remember, you don’t need to get all these chests in one go. You can get one per match if need be, so take your time and watch your six. But you do need to finish each match for them to count—you can’t simply search a chest, log out and then go back again. Finish the match, whether you win or lose, in order to make the challenge stick.
