There’s a secret free tier hidden in Fortnite’s Battle Pass Season 4, Week 1. It’s not mentioned in the challenges, but if you follow these steps you can get a bonus tier on your quest for the coveted Tier 100 and the Omega skin.
In Season 4, there’s a whole new suite of special challenges. The Carbide and Omega challenges unlock customization options for both those skins. And the weekly Blockbuster Challenge unlocks mysterious prizes. If you complete 7 weeks of Blockbuster challenges, you’ll unlock what appears to be a special skin, though what the final prize is remains a mystery.
Completing Blockbuster Challenges is pretty straightforward but far from easy. All you have to do is complete all challenges in any given week. If you do this for the first week, you’ll unlock a special loading screen (pictured above.)
A loading screen may not sound like the greatest reward ever—even though it’s a pretty sweet image of Leviathan and another character on a movie set near the prison—but it’s more than just a loading screen. There’s a secret free Battle Tier hiding in plain sight in the image (discovered by Reddit user Bfor45.)
To get this free Tier you’ll need to:
- Complete all Week 1 challenges and get the ‘Quiet on the Set!’ loading screen.
- Head to the north-east part of the prison where you’ll find the star up on the tower.
Just remember, you’ll need to complete all of Week 1′s challenges before you can find the free tier.
So basically, finishing every Season 4, Week 1 challenge will not only net you a cool new loading screen, you’ll also get a free tier in the process. Not bad at all. It’ll be interesting to see what other week’s have in store.
