A Forth Valley diabetes charity is continuing to raise funds after local residents took part in a sponsored walk earlier this month.
Forth Valley T1D Families organised the route around Larbert Loch and the Maggies Centre and managed to collect at least £1485.
The charity is described as a peer led family group, supporting children living locally with type one diabetes and their families.
It was founded and is chaired by Juliet Catlin Senior Charge Nurse for NHS Forth Valley's Ophthalmology Day Care Unit and Eye Clinic.
She was motivated to do so after her son Harris was diagnosed with type one diabetes.
Forth Valley T1D Families are continuing to provide sponsor forms and hope to use the money to set up events for families to meet.
They also hope to use the rest of it to distribute starter packs for newly diagnosed families after doing so during the pandemic.
Those who are wanting to donate, can also do so on the JustGiving page where the money secured is rapidly increasing.
