Forth Valley cops search for missing Dundee man recently spotted in area

Local cops are appealing for information in the search for a missing man from Dundee spotted in a trio of Forth Valley towns in recent days.

Concerns are growing over 69-year-old Christopher Staffurth, also known as Mark, who went missing from the Tayside city on August 17.

Police are now reporting that members of the public have seen Christopher in the Bridge of Allan/Dunblane/Doune area in the last few days and are appealing for anyone who may have seen him or with information to come forward.

Christopher is described as being 5'8", slim build, short grey hair and a distinctive handlebar moustache.

He was last seen wearing a blue Rangers top with "55 WATP" on its front, black jeans and boots. he was also wearing a blue anorak and may be in possession of a green sleeping bag.

Anyone with information to help with the search is urged to contact 101, quoting incident number 2284 of 17 August.
