The Fort Worth Police Department has issued a missing child alert for 7-year-old Zuri Demilade Reynolds-Adefarakan, who disappeared Monday afternoon in the eastern part of the city.
Authorities say Zuri was last seen around 1:20 p.m. near the 3700 block of Pinnacle Circle East in Fort Worth. The department has launched an urgent search effort and is asking for the public’s help in locating her.
According to police, Zuri is described as being 4 feet 11 inches tall and weighing approximately 65 pounds. She has black hair, brown eyes, and was last seen wearing a pink unicorn shirt paired with black leggings.
Detectives and patrol units have been canvassing the surrounding neighborhoods, knocking on doors and checking nearby parks, schools, and businesses for surveillance footage that might show the girl’s movements after she was last seen. Officers have also requested assistance from specialized search and rescue teams.
The department has not released details about the circumstances of her disappearance or whether foul play is suspected, but officials emphasized that locating Zuri quickly remains their top priority.
“Every minute matters when a child is missing,” a Fort Worth Police spokesperson said Monday evening. “We are doing everything possible to bring Zuri home safely.”
Local residents have been urged to check their yards, garages, and any outbuildings where a child might seek shelter. Police have also advised drivers in the area to stay alert and report any possible sightings immediately.
