Formula Legends Releasing on September 18 - Demo Available on Multiple Platforms

3DClouds has confirmed Formula Legends, their open-wheel sim-cade racer, will be launching on September 18 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and PC for $19.99. A demo is available now across all platforms except for Nintendo Switch, where it’s scheduled to go live on August 14.

The game captures over seventy years of motorsport history with a playful nod to iconic tracks, drivers, teams and cars. Designed to be both accessible and challenging, Formula Legends aims to channel the speed and intensity of open-wheel racing’s earlier days, putting players behind the wheel of classic-inspired machines as they take on legendary circuits and test their skills against the clock and the competition.

The team has poured their love of motorsport into the game, aiming to create something that appeals to a wide range of racing fans. While it leans into an arcade-style experience with optional assists to keep things accessible, it also brings in deeper elements like tire wear, fuel usage, evolving track conditions, damage and dynamic weather. The result is a sim-cade mix that offers a customizable and unpredictable racing experience that still manages to keep it fun for everyone.
