Cheshire Police reported in June last year that officers had received allegations of fraud connected to a charity based at Grangeway Community Centre in Runcorn.
The investigation was "in its early stages".
Young Addaction, the national parent organisation of Young Addaction Halton, has since changed its name to We Are With You and no longer provides youth services in Halton, its contract in the borough having expired last summer.
