Former West Brom boss makes Leeds United prediction that Nottingham Forest fans will not like

Former Middlesbrough and West Brom boss Tony Pulis has tipped Leeds United to beat Nottingham Forest to promotion this season - despite the Reds' statement 2-0 win on Saturday.

Sammy Ameobi and Tyler Walker were both on target for the Reds as they put aside their Elland Road opponents at the City Ground with a win that boosted their promotion hopes dramatically.

Leeds, once eleven points clear or third place, are now only ahead of Fulham on goal difference and have Forest and Brentford just one and two points behind respectively.

But Pulis still expects Bielsa's side, who have lost five of their last six games, to end the rut and win Premier League promotion in May.

"Leeds were nowhere near their best. I still fancy them to go up," said Pulis.

"They’ve got some terrific players but they’re just a little bit off. What Leeds now need is just a couple of results, very quickly."
