Former Warrior Andre Iguodala goes scoreless in Heat vs. Celtics Eastern Conference Finals Game 2

With the Golden State Warriors on the outside of the Orlando Bubble edition of the postseason, Warriors Wire is checking in with former members of the Dubs at Disney World.

In-game two against the Celtics, Golden State’s former sixth man Andre Iguodala went scoreless in a postseason-low seven minutes. Prior to game two, Iguodala was averaging 20.2 minutes per game in Miami’s 2020 playoff run. Iguodala’s only mark on the stat sheet came on a single assist in the second quarter of the contest.

Despite Iguodala’s minimal night in the boxscore, the Heat were able to manufacture a gritty 17 point comeback against the Celtics. Miami roared back in the third quarter, outscoring Boston 37-17.

On his way to recording a double-double, Bam Adebayo tallied 15 points on 7-of-8 shooting from the field with two rebounds, a block and a steal in the third quarter alone. The Kentucky product finished the game with 21 points and 10 rebounds.

Miami’s big third quarter helped seal their comeback victory over the Celtics, 106-101. Veteran guard Goran Dragic led the Heat in scoring with 25 points on 10-of-19 shooting from the field in 34 minutes. Duncan Robinson helped Miami’s long-distance attack, splashing 6-of-12 from beyond the arc against Boston in game two.
