Former Voice of Ireland star Andrew Mann dies suddenly just months after death of model ex-girlfriend Alli MacDonnell

Former Voice of Ireland star Andrew Mann has died suddenly just months after the death of his model ex-girlfriend Alli MacDonnell.

The pair were parents to two-year-old daughter Siena Rose.

Andrew rose to prominence after starring on the second series of The Voice of Ireland, and released his debut EP Middle of the Dancefloor in 2013.

The news comes just three months after the modelling world was rocked by the sudden death of Alli, 37, in February.

The devoted mum-of-four was signed with Andrea Roche’s AR Model Agency and was also a regular contributor to RTE and Virgin Media One.

And tributes have been pouring in for talented musician Andrew since the news of his passing was made public.

Keywest singer Andy Kavanagh shared a heartbreaking tribute to his friend, who he described as a "beautiful soul".

He wrote on Facebook: "I just got the shocking news that my friend and fellow musician Andrew Mann has passed.

"Another beautiful soul lost needlessly.

"Life can get so very complicated so quickly. I've known Andrew for many years as a musician but in recent years we've really become good friends.

"He was a gentle positive person and I loved being around him. This has definitely hit me very hard.

"You will be missed my friend."
